The company experienced significant transformation from a small Danish firm to a company producing one of the highest quality wooden ship kits worldwide.

The main features of this ship model kit are ABS hull, wooden superstructure and decks, brass or plastic hull and deck fittings, ramin mast, rigging cord, propshafts, rudders and propellers. The model ship kit pack includes also full size plan sheets and clear instruction manuals.

The Banckert vessel was built in Millingen, Holland in 1965 and was earlier called Maasbank and later renamed to Banckert in 1977. The purpose of this vessel was to sail in the Western part of Holland and she was doing this for 12 years. The overall length was more than 32 meters and the engine was able to produce 1,800 horse powers.
